Chastity Ford, from Winchester, Kentucky started her journey into the dance world twelve years ago when her love for dance and fine arts lead her to enroll her then two year old daughter, Samantha, into her first dance class. From that point forward the entire Ford family was hooked! Chastity’s older daughter, Jordan later joined a dance class and her husband, Tom became an enthusiastic dance dad. As the family got more involved in dance, so did Chastity.
In 2003 she became the office manager, stage manager, and creative assistant for Arts Studio of Kentucky. In addition to her administrative work, Chastity obtained a Bachelor of Fine Arts with an emphasis in Graphic Design, which has allowed her to run her own freelance business since 2008. Chastity has had the privilege of producing unique and timeless designs to help facilitate the growth of many businesses. Chastity was delighted to join Bluegrass Dance Center as the studio’s administrative assistant for 2013.

In 2016 she was diagnosed with breast cancer and was an inspiration to us all as she continued to work her full time job and remained involved with her daughters’ activities. She has been cancer free since June of 2017. She attributes her faith in God, strong will and positive attitude to helping her overcome her diagnosis. Around the studio she is known as “Aunt Steph” and you can always hear her contagious laughter anywhere in the studio.
